為了應(yīng)對全球結(jié)核病疫情威脅帶來的嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn)，目前迫切需要推動全球遏制結(jié)核病規(guī)劃（2006-2015）的充分資金投入，并積極實施全球遏制結(jié)核病的戰(zhàn)略。當(dāng)前遏制結(jié)核病需要各國政府和捐助團體共同履行責(zé)任，并且各國的決策者也應(yīng)該和受到結(jié)核病疫情影響的人群和地區(qū)一起抗擊結(jié)核。

TheGlobalPlantoStopTB-iffullyfunded-providestheworkplanforfightingTB.TheGlobalPlanoutlineshowTBmortalityandprevalencecouldbecutinhalfby2015andTBeliminatedby2050.WithatotalcostofUS$56billion,afundinggapofatleastUS$31billionstillexists,includingUS$22billionforimplementationandUS$9billionfortheresearchanddevelopmentofnewtools.
